Winter Escapes
The weather outside is cold and rainy, and there can be no doubt that winter is here for a while yet. There are two possible solutions to this: bundle up and go into hibernation, or break free and head abroad to take in some glorious sunshine. If you choose the latter, here are two places worth checking out.
Greece is a premiere option if you are looking for winter sun. Warm Mediterranean weather and gorgeous beaches will greet you on many of the different islands. You can splash in balmy seas rather than chilling puddles back home. Greece also offers a wide variety of other cultural attractions, so non-beach lovers will still find it a great destination during the winter.
Florida is a great option as well:it has the requisite warm weather and beaches, yet also has tons of other attractions. Golf is played all year round on excellent courses, and Walt Disney World Resort is a perfect place to visit for families. In fact Florida holidays are the perfect solution if you want to escape the winter with your whole family in tow – children will find a never ending supply of activities, while adults will love the weather and the golf.
If you are fed up of slogging to work through abysmal weather, remember: there is an escape route. Hop online and book a vacation to Greece or Florida – the warm weather will do you a whole world of good, and make the winter far easier to bear.
